Powerhouse Play: Move Freely

Come and join us for Move Freely, a calm, structured yet flexible aerial hoop and movement programme for neurodivergent young people aged 13–17yrs, created in partnership by Imagineer Productions and Deleata Z.

Using low-height aerial hoop alongside accessible movement activities, Move Freely creates a supportive environment where young people can explore movement at their own pace.

Over the 8 week block, sessions are designed around predictability, choice and comfort, supporting participants to engage in ways that feel right for them, whether that’s actively taking part, taking breaks, observing or simply becoming familiar with the space over time.

The focus is on building confidence, body awareness and positive experiences of movement, without pressure or expectation.

You’re welcome whether you have a formal diagnosis or simply identify as neurodivergent — or if you feel a calmer, more flexible space works best for you.

👚Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are your friend in The Powerhouse. There are large toilet cubicles for changing, but no showers.
🚽Accessible toilets and baby change available.
🚧Please note there are ongoing demolition works in the surrounding industrial park that may cause additional noise and dust.

Additional Information

No prior experience needed
Activities can be adapted to suit different abilities and comfort levels
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring a reusable water bottle which we can refill on-site
Sessions use aerial hoop at a low and accessible height
Sessions follow a consistent structure each week to help participants feel comfortable and familiar in the space

Pricing Information

Cost of 8 sessions is £86.00 (£10.75 per session). Ticket prices are subsidised by Imagineer Productions, with thanks to Arts Council England.
